Pick a date and pay in full to reserve your seat. Classes cap at six students — five for the live-fire qualification, so the seat is yours the moment payment goes through. Most classes run in our Sussex classroom on a laser system; the concealed carry qualification is live fire at our private range.

Seats are confirmed when payment completes.
No live ammunition in the classroom. Ever. Classroom sessions run on a laser cartridge, and nothing live comes through the classroom door.
It must arrive unloaded, with no ammunition and no loaded magazines — leave all of it in your vehicle.
We currently have laser cartridges in 9mm, .380 ACP, .40 S&W and .45 ACP only — that only limits Laser Practice, which is laser time on your own firearm. Call (973) 534-8437 with any questions.
Every firearm is inspected before it is accepted. We check it clear ourselves before it goes into the classroom — every firearm, every session, no exceptions.
The CCW Qualification is New Jersey's live-fire test for your carry permit. We do not teach holster draw or how to run your handgun on qualification day. There is no time for it, and a live firing line is not a safe place to learn it.
Before you book, you must already be able to do all of this safely and on your own:
The live-fire qualification is held at our outdoor private range. It is not cancelled for weather. Check the forecast and dress for the day — layers, rain gear, or sun protection, whatever it calls for. Jeans or tactical pants and closed-toe shoes; no open-toed shoes or sleeveless shirts.

Take CCW Prep / Holster Fundamentals to learn the holster draw, a Private Range Session to get live time on your own handgun, or Beginner Handgun if you're new to handguns — then come back and qualify. Payment in full reserves your seat. Class bookings are non-refundable — but we can move you to a different date if you need. Call (973) 534-8437 or email Info@Firearms-Express.com at least 48 hours before your class and we will move you to the next available session.
Keep this confirmation code as your proof of booking.
